College body writes to CM for facilities

TURA, Aug 28: A newly constituted college body with the name College of Teacher Education Students’ Union (CTE-SU), Rongkhon has submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister Conrad Sangma seeking various facilities for the college.
The college body was formed recently after the holding of elections to the various posts.
The new body has been constituted with Thomas M Marak as president, Anthony A Sangma as general secretary, Kalipson A Sangma as vice president, Oleg Salengko T Sangma as joint secretary, and Amsrang R Marak as finance secretary, besides other members.
In the memorandum to the CM, it demanded various facilities for the college which include a generator, laboratories, sports infrastructure in the form of construction of basketball court and cricket pitch with proper nets and kits, installation of Indoor games like badminton court, table tennis etc., musical instruments, traditional Instruments and public address system, proper construction of auditorium with backstage and other requirements.
