SHILLONG: The first inter-school athletic meet of the newly-created East Jaintia Hills District will start on Thursday, according to H Shangpliang, the District Sports Officer, East Jaintia Hills, through a press release.
Although 32 schools had registered for the event, four did not attend the required screening.
Students of 28 schools will therefore take part in the athletic meet at Teilang playground, Dkhiah West.
