NCA conducts assessment for Shillong coaches

SHILLONG, Oct 6: The BCCI’s National Cricket Academy (NCA) conducted an onsite practical assessment for Meghalaya Cricket Association (MCA) trainees of the ongoing Hybrid Level 1 Coaches Course, on Monday.
The course was conducted by NCA head of education Sujith Somasundar, master faculty Apurva Desai and faculty member M Sanjay , at the MCA Cricket Ground, Polo Grounds.
MCA Technical Committee member Saibal Dasgupta was present to formally open the course and felicitate the NCA faculty.
Sixteen trainees from different district associations affiliated to the MCA attended the course. The results are expected to be announced later this month.
The practical assessment is part of the Level 1 Coaches Course examination, after the online theory assessment that was conducted from October 25 to 30 October last year.
The NCA faculty applauded the MCA for the facilities being provided development in of cricket in Meghalaya. They also appreciated the MCA’s panel of coaches and said that more clinics and workshops will enable the coaches to make progress and achieve their full potential.
