pal once

forced singer Demi Lovato to sign a suicide contract when she was seven following teachers’ concerns about her state of mind.

The 20-year-old singer-actress, who has battled personal issues for years and spent months in rehab following a meltdown on tour in 2010, said she was a strange child who used to worry people with her dark thoughts, reported Daily Star.

Lovato previously said she signed a ‘no suicide contract’ after going through some tough times when she first found fame at the age of seven.

“The principal called my parents and made me sign this suicide contract saying that I would not kill myself. They weren’t expecting that so young,” she said.

Shortly after her rehab stint, the ‘Skyscraper’ hitmaker said she was a survivor of bulimia and self-harming, and also battled with bipolar disorder.

Demi Lovato has reached out to Paris Jackson, encouraging her to ‘stay strong’ following her alleged suicide attempt.

The ‘X Factor USA’ judge took to Twitter following 15-year-old Paris’ alleged suicide attempt, reported Us magazine.

“Dear Paris Jackson, don’t let bullies to let you down. We believe in you. Stay strong, Please,” she tweeted. (PTI)
