SHILLONG, Oct 23: The East Khasi Hills District Chess Association conducted a District Selection Chess Tournament 2022 at BBS College, Shillong from October 21-22 after which eight male and 2 female participants have been selected to represent the district in the State A Chess Championship 2022 scheduled to be held Nongstoin on November 4 and 5.
The eight male chess players selected include Amit Saraf, Anubhav Sharma, Mewanpynhun Diengdoh, Mewanshwa Uriah, Ganesh Rai, Lovingstar Kharbuli, Kiran Joshi, Zabdiel Diengdoh.
Meanwhile, Aiti Lyne Diengdoh and Siddhi Kansa lar ethe two female players chosen to represent East Khasi Hills District.
