NONGPOH: The CORP Central Body on Friday, lambasted the State government for adopting a double standard policy whereby, two medicos who were awarded with National awards were never felicitated by the government.
The two medicos, Itis Muktieh from Ri Bhoi District and Bisilda Langstieh of East Khasi Hills District were awarded with ‘National Florence Nightingale Award’ on May 12, last from Pranab Mukherjee, President of India at Delhi. Muktieh is presently serving at Byrnihat CHC.
CORP Central Body president Doris Sulien said that Muktieh will be felicitated by them on July 11.
