Top global univs to partake in Shillong event tomorrow

SHILLONG, Oct 30: In a first, More than 20 universities from various countries will participate the ‘Study Abroad Road Show’ to be hosted by Global Reach at Hotel Pinewood here on Tuesday.
Local students would be able to directly interact with some of the world’s top 50 ranked universities (2022 QS rankings) and many more.
These universities include National University of Singapore (NUS), which is ranked 11th in the world, University of Melbourne (ranked 37th), University of Sydney (ranked 38th).
Besides these, many universities visiting from the U.K., Australia etc., are ranked in the top 200 list and students would get opportunities to learn about their admission process.
It may be noted that IISc Bengaluru (Rank 155), IIT Bombay (Rank 172) and IIT Delhi (Rank 174) are the only three Indian universities that bagged a spot amongst the top 200.
Local students have a unique opportunity with this event find out more about getting admissions, scholarships and cost of studying in such institutions.
The programme will be held from 1 pm to 5 pm.
