SHILLONG: Police on Wednesday arrested a police couple along with their son for assaulting a domestic help, who is also a minor, at CID Quarter, Bishnupur, in the city.
It is alleged that the sub inspector Trinsilla Momin, her husband David Marak, who is a head constable and their son Arjun Momin assaulted the 14-year old girl, who hails from Garo Hills, at the CID Quarter.
According to police, the FIR filed by the girl was registered on Wednesday and the arrest was made immediately.
When asked about the reason, police said investigation was on.
After her medical examination, the victim was later sent to Childline Shillong.
