The Commerce & Industries Department in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Export Organisations Guwahati is organising a seminar on ‘Promoting Exports from the State of Meghalaya under the District as Export Hub Programme’ at the Conference Hall of the District Commerce & Industries Centre, Shillong, at 10:30 am on December 2.
Meeting
A state-level meeting was convened on Tuesday by the State Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) with state level representatives of political parties to share transparency measures on summary revision process, posting of number of enrolments received, shifting deletions, change of address, district-wise status of enrolment on public domain through CEO website, etc. The CEO sought the cooperation of parties for active participation of booth level awareness groups in areas with low enrolment and low voter turnouts.
