SHILLONG, Dec 6: As many as 600 people from South Shillong constituency working in different sectors were felicitated in the city on Tuesday.
The felicitation was carried out by Cabinet Minister and local MLA Sanbor Shullai in association with Monitoring-cum-Implementation Committee (MCIC) 19th South Shillong and BJP South Shillong constituency.
The ones who were felicitated during the programme include taxi drivers, caretakers, Asha workers and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Shullai acknowledged their services rendered and asked them to continue with their hard work.
He also said that it is imperative in today’s world to extend a helping hand to one and all.
