Felicitation
BJP aspirant from North Shillong M Kharkrang on Friday felicitated Ram Lanong for winning silver medal in the recently concluded North East Olympic Games. Kharkrang also felicitated Lakhon Lanong for winning silver medal in the Junior National Karate Championship organised by Karate Association of India (KIA). Both were felicitated with mementos and cash.

Clarification
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) enrolment drive on Thursday at Khyndai Lad was organised by Michael Kharsyntiew, with the support from BJP women wing, and not by M Kharkrang, as reported on the December 9, 2022, edition of this paper. Kharsyntiew also organised another enrolment drive at Jail Road market on Friday, with many getting enrolled in the party.
