NONGSTOIN: The West Khasi Hills District DC has declared Section 144 CrPC on all wooden bridges under PWD Nongstoin Division. The order applies to all wooden bridges of Nongstoin, Darugiri, Umthli Maweit, Mawmarin upto Nongkullang.

The DC issued the prohibitory order as all the wooden bridges in these areas are in a dilapidated condition.
