Body recovered
On December 28 around 8 am, police received information that body of one Novelstar Swett (27) with injury marks was found lying at Arwah Khlieh Shnong under Sohra Police Station, East Khasi Hills. The cadaver was then sent to North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) for autopsy.
Theft
On December 27 afternoon, unknown miscreant(s) stole one ATM card, documents, one LPG cylinder with burners, electric induction stove and Rs. 25,000 in cash from the house of one Ajay Kumar at Oakland, Shillong.
