‘BJP to support Williamnagar Cong candidate’

SHILLONG, Jan 7: Top leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Williamnagar have decided to extend support to Congress candidate Deborah Marak in the upcoming Assembly elections.
The top leaders, who have extended their support to Congress, are Greatwill Sangma, who had contested the last Member of District Council election as BJP candidate, Jeraison Marak from BJP Williamnagar Mondal and BJP youth secretary Diniberth Momin.
Deborah Marak on Friday informed that the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders, who are supporting Congress, have also decided not to field any candidate in Williamnagar.
