NONGSTOIN: In view of the traffic congestion in Nongstoin Town Area, the West Khasi Hills SP, Nongstoin, Sylvester Nongtnger held a meeting with the Tourist Maxi Cab Association, Bus Association and the NRLTODA to decide on new traffic arrangements.
It was unanimously decided that parking of public transport vehicles from Nongstoin to Shillong would allowed at Khlieh Iew, New – Nongstoin.
The meeting also decided that the above arrangement would come into effect from 8th July 2013 and also requested all the general public to render their co-operation.
