SHILLONG, Jan 24: Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Eastern Air Command, Air Marshal SP Dharkar, was at Air Force Station Laitkor Peak as part of a familiarisation visit.
He was received by the Station Commander, Group Captain Vivek Sharma.
The AOC-in-C was briefed about various operations being undertaken by the station after which he reviewed the operational, maintenance and administrative preparedness of the base, a statement issued here said. The Air Marshal interacted with personnel of the station and urged them to keep pace with new technological advancements, while exhorting all Air warriors to remain physically fit and mentally agile for operational readiness and be vigilant to meet any security challenge.
