TURA: Vehemently opposing the transfer of Dadenggre Sub Divisional School and Education Officer (SDSEO) and Selsella Block Development Officer (BDO), NGOs comprising of the FKJGP, FAF, Mother’s Union and AGHLPUPST spearheaded by the GSU, Dadenggre Unit on Wednesday, staged a sit in demonstration in front of the Sub Divisional Officer’s Office.

Displeased over the transfer of both the Dadenggre SDSEO, I G Momin and Selsella BDO Albert G Momin within two and four months of their posting respectively, NGOs led by the GSU staged a sit in demonstration in front of the SDOs offices demanding that their transfer orders be revoked.

GSU President Dadenggre Unit, Rupa M Marak speaking to media persons stated that the transfer of the SDSEO, a sincere and hardworking officer, within two months of her posting did not sit well with the citizens of Dadenggre. According to Marak the SDSEO was a sincere and hardworking officer genuinely engaged in uplifting the people of the region and to transfer such an officer while only two months into her posting was against any logic.

Meanwhile demanding the appointment of an MCS officer as the BDO of Selsella C and RD Block the Mothers Union has opposed the transfer of Albert G Momin.
