NONGPOH, Jan 27: In yet another case of hit-and-run, a motorist and his pillion were on Thursday injured after the scooter (ML05B5515) they were travelling in was hit by a truck (ML05S4493) on Umsning Bypass of NH-6.
The incident, which reportedly came to pass at around 1 pm, left the two injured, following which they were rushed to a nearby healthcare centre for treatment.
As per sources, the truck, after hitting the scooter, fled the scene only to be apprehended later by the police at Umtrew.
Meanwhile, an investigation into the case has also been initiated by the police.
