Debris from MUDA complex is being dumped on the roadside at Khydai Lad point on Wednesday. The irony is that the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, in a press release dated July 11 has strictly prohibited dumping of construction materials by any private parties in and within Police Bazar area and may be confined only within compound or premises of owner of concerned building. Will MUDA practise what the authority preaches?
