BSF Meghalaya observes World Cancer Day

SHILLONG, Feb 4: The BSF Meghalaya Frontier on Saturday joined the international observation of World Cancer Day, at Composite Hospital, Shillong.
According to a statement, a programme in this regard was organised, during which DIG (Med) Dr Angel Bennet educated BSF personnel and their family members on various types of cancer and prevention of the same.
As part of the programme, a camp was also held during which 80 persons underwent cancer screening.
Inspector General of BSF Meghalaya Pradip Kumar, who attended the programme as a chief guest, urged the gathering to lead a healthy and happy life.
