SHILLONG: The UDP Youth Wing will see a major revamping in the next three months with the party aiming to make its youth body more action oriented.
“We are looking to bring a change of strategy to make the party youth wing more vibrant in taking up issues which affecting the common man of the State,” UDP State Youth Wing senior adviser Paul Lyngdoh said while revealing on the plan action to strengthen the youth boy here on Saturday.
According to Lyngdoh, the party senior leaders are expected to extensively tour across the State to strengthen the units of the youth body across the State.
Lyngdoh said that the youth body will also start following up issues which will be taken up by the party.
Meanwhile, UDP youth wing senior adviser informed that the Youth Convention of the UDP Youth Wing Shillong City will be held in the city on August 24.
