NONGSTOIN: A young couple allegedly attempted to commit suicide in New Nongstoin area but timely medical aid helped to save their lives.
The couple – Jeffery Syiem of New Nongstoin and Rebecca Pala of Khliehriat – attempted to take their own lives at the former’s house by consuming some poisonous substance on July 13. They were rushed to Nongstoin Civil Hospital from where they will be discharged on Tuesday.
