SHILLONG: The East Khasi Hills police on Thursday informed that traffic arrangement has been made in and around Mawkhar area from July 22 which will be effective for 12 hours from 7:30am to 7:30pm.
A No Entry has been imposed from Topsaw, Wahingdoh to Lad Jaiaw Shyiap and vehicles coming from Wahingdoh going towards Riatsamthiah will take a left turn at Topsaw, Wahingdoh towards Mawkhar, Lad Jaiaw Shyiap and then to Riatsamthiah.
Vehicles coming from Jaiaw and proceeding towards Riatsamthiah, Wahingdoh and Umsohsun will enter through Lad Jaiaw Shyiap and proceed toward Riatsamthiah, Wahingdoh. The road from the office of Syiem Mylliem towards Wahingdoh is declared as No Entry. No parking has been imposed along the stretch from the office of Syiem of Durbar Hima Mylliem, Mawkhar Rim Road up to Mawkhar Catholic Church.
