ST lodges complaint with cybercrime police against fake post circulated in its name

Shillong, Feb 28: The Shillong Times (TST) hereby has made it clear to its readers that some vested interests are out to create confusion among the people as well as malign TST through circulation of a fake post (see picture with this clarification) of breaking news titled ‘Mid Day Exit Poll of Meghalaya assembly Election 2023.’

The Shillong Times has lodged a complaint with Cybercrime wing of Meghalaya Police against unknown persons involved in circulation this fake post in the social media.
