Meghalaya Election Results 2023: Adelbert Nongrum retains North Shillong

Adelbert Nongrum has retained the North Shillong seat despite shifting base from KHNAM to VPP. He defeated his nearest rival M Kharkrang of the BJP by a margin of 1,033 votes. Nongrum secured 5,583 votes as against Kharkrang’s 4,550 votes. Former DHS and UDP candidate, Aman Warr, and former PWD engineer and NPP candidate, Ransom Sutnga, polled 3,791 and 1,975 votes respectively.
