Dimapur police nab arms dealer

KOHIMA:Dimapur police have arrested an arms dealer from Bihar in this insurgency-affected town of Nagaland, police on Wednesday said.They said acting on a tip-off regarding arms smuggling being carried out at Burma Camp area, the Special Branch of Dimapur on Tuesday apprehended one person and seized seven different types of arms from him.Police said the accused had been identified as Sanjay Sharma. He hailed from Maniyar Chowk village in Bihar’s Lukhsarai district.The seizure list included one revolver and pistols of US and Italy make. (UNI)
