Kitboklang Nongrum has been awarded a doctoral degree in Botany by NEHU for a thesis on the topic ‘Effect of provenance variation on seed characteristics, germination, and seedling growth of tree bean (Parkia roxburghii G. Don)’, under the supervision of Prof. Uma Shankar, Botany Department, NEHU, Shillong. Dr. BP Bhatt, ICAR, Eastern Region, Patna was the joint supervisor. Dr. Nongrum is an assistant professor, Department of Environment Sciences & Traditional Ecosystems, Martin Luther Christian University, Shillong.
