Intl year of Mathematics
The Celebration of International Year of Mathematics of Planet Earth 2013 will be held on July 25 and at Shillong Jail Road Boy’s Higher Secondary School and a workshop for Mathematics teachers of the city will be organized on July 25 on the theme ‘Innovative Approach to Mathematics’.
Meeting
Annual general body meeting of the Central Government (Civil) Pensioners Association will be held at Sikdor Memorial Hall, Jail Road Boy’s School on August 3 from 10.30 am.
Golden jubilee
The main events of the golden jubilee celebration of Teaching Science in Shillong College will begin from July 23 and various events including international seminar and science exhibition will be organized. The celebration will end with a valedictory function on July 30.
Debate
St Mary’s Higher Secondary School as a part of its centenary celebrations will organize and inter school debate on the topic ‘Academic achievements are the true manifestations of a child’s abilities’ on July 23 at 10 am on the school premises.
