NAGAON:Jailed chairman of the anti-talk faction of the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) Ranjan Daimary on Wednesday demanded free movement of NDFB cadre to facilitate dialogue with the government.

Talking to a 11-member group of the Bodo National Conference (BNC) led by his sister Anjali Daimary at Nagaon jail, the NDFB leader demanded a “honourable” solution to the Bodo problem and free movement of the cadre. “Just as the ULFA members are free after surrendering, we demand that the NDFB cadre are also allowed to move freely and come for negotiation with the government”, Daimary told the group.

Anjali, who is the head of the Bodo Women Justice Forum, said the BNC will approach the Centre to address the issue of the Bodos. (PTI)
