Shillong College Alumni Association will organise a day long programme on July 29 from 10:00AM to 4:00PM to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Teaching Science in the College. A panel Discussion will be held on the Topic : “Future of Science Education in Colleges -Challenges and Opportunities” . All the past students and teachers are cordially invited.
Anniversary
Shree Ramayan Satsang Samity, Shillong will celebrate its 10th anniversary at Rajasthan Visram Bhawan, Luckier Road here on Sunday the 28th July at 1:30 pm onwards. On the occasion the famous Sundar Kand Samiti of Tinsukia would give discourse on religious scripture Sundar Kand.
Platinum Jubilee
The Bangiya Sahitya Parishad, Shillong will organise a two-day long closing ceremony of its Platinum Jubilee on August 3 and 4 at 10.30am. Re-union of the members, a medley of Bengalee songs, multilingual poet-meet, release of a special souvenir, felicitation to the personalities on the field of arts and culture and cultural evening are on the cards to mark this occasion.
