SHILLONG, April 3: The newly constituted State Planning Board on Monday held its first meeting here, following which its chairman Metbah Lyngdoh said that the board members are barely bothered about enjoying perks and facilities and are focussed on contributing towards the state.
“And we will ensure that we will do it,” he said, while adding that they will not have the joy to enjoy perks and facilities if they are unable to contribute towards the state.
Lyngdoh also informed that they will immediately swing into action once the board gets full-fledged members and experts from various departments.
