Don Bosco College workshop imparts strategies to ace CUET

TURA, April 4: A one-day workshop for 6th semester students of Commerce and Science streams on ‘Building a Culture of Excellence: Strategies for Success at CUET’ was on Tuesday organised by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Don Bosco College, Tura, in collaboration with College Welfare and Advisory Committee (CWAC), North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Tura campus.
Dr. Binu Mathew, Associate Professor of Department of Rural Development and Agricultural Products (RDAP), took the first session on ‘CUET (PG) 2023- Opportunity, Challenges and a Way Forward’, and gave a comprehensive lecture on all the logistics of CUET.
Dr. Mathew, who is also the Chairman of CWAC, NEHU Tura campus, emphasised that CUET is an opportunity and that students should enrol for the same without delay.
Prof. Nikme Salse C Momin, Department of Education, NEHU, Tura, on the other hand, conducted the afternoon session on ‘Learning Outcome Based Education’, and spoke on the National Educational Policy and Continuous Assessment.
Prof. Momin also talked about how the CUET is an assessment of a student’s learning. Both strongly advocated the need to brave the competition and attempt CUET, and encouraged the students to do better and seize the opportunities presented before them.
