Bulandshahr: A jilted lover stabbed a married woman to death after she refused his marriage proposal, police said here.
Farida, a resident of Faisalabad locality here, succumbed to her injuries at the district hospital here. She was admitted to the hospital last evening after being stabbed by Shahanawaz, SP (Crime) G N Tripathi said.
The accused was in love with Farida and was reportedly miffed with her due to repeated refusals to his marriage proposal, the official said, adding that the victim was a mother of four and her husband works in UAE. (PTI)
