Shillong, April 19: With the start of IPL cricket season, enthusiasts start predicting the winners in each game. As there are many websites and applications promoting monetary gains, predictions have become very common.

Predictions are also being made for the 26th match of the IPL 2023 that will take place on Wednesday, April 19, at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur between the Rajasthan Royals (RR) and the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).

The Royals are in the lead in the points table after winning four of their first five games in the competition. They defeated the Gujarat Titans in their prior game.

Batting first, the Titans had scored 177 runs in 20 overs while losing seven wickets. David Miller and Shubman Gill each scored 40 or more runs for the team. Sandeep Sharma, who took two wickets for 25 runs in four overs, was the Royals’ top bowler.

With the bat, Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetmyer were key for the Royals. Hetmyer made 56 runs off just 26 deliveries to win Player of the Match, while Samson scored 60 runs off 32 deliveries.

Super Giants are in second place in the standings after winning three of their last five games. In their prior matchup with Punjab Kings, they were defeated. Despite KL Rahul scoring 50 runs, the Super Giants could only muster 159 runs. Sam Curran was the team’s most productive bowler, taking three wickets for 31 runs in four overs.

Sikandar Raza’s first half-century in the IPL helped the team win by two wickets. As a result of his effort, Raza was named Player of the Match.
