48-hour power shut down in WKH, EWKH from 9 am of April 21

Shillong, April 19: The Executive Engineer, MePDCL, West Khasi Hills (D) Division, Rajib Datta has informed that the 20 MVA Power Transformer at 132 KV Grid Sub Station at Nongyndeng will be under continuous Shutdown from 9:00AM on the 21 April to 9:00AM of 23rd April, 2023.

Datta informed that the total shut down will be for two days and it has been required for the filtration works of the power transformer.

He has  further said that all villages (areas) under West Khasi Hills  (WKH) district and Eastern West Khasi Hills (EWKH) district will be affected or that there will be no electricity supply during the period.
