SHILLONG, April 30: Former MLA of Nongstoin and former Cabinet minister, Endro Iawphniaw passed away at his residence in Dhankheti, on Saturday. He was 83. Iawphniaw had represented Nongstoin constituency from 1978 to 1983 as an HSPDP candidate.
The funeral will be held at Mawkhar Presbyterian Church, Mission Compound, at 2 pm on Monday.
