SHILLONG: The office of the District Sports Officer, West Jaintia Hills District, will organise the Chief Minister’s Football Cup 2013 for under-12 boys and girls at the block and district level in the East and West Jaintia Hills districts.
Entry forms, which much be submitted by August 19, are available from the DSO and also from the secretaries of the collaborating sports associations (SA) listed below.
All interested schools, clubs, associations and teams from the two districts are invited to take part.
Amlarem block will see its tournament held from August 22-24, with Laskein block hosting its on August 26-29.
Thadlaskein and Saipung blocks will kick off from September 2-5. They will be followed by Khliehriat block and Jowai on September 10-13.
The district level tournament will be held from September 16-20 for both East and West Jaintia Hills.
