London: With six points at the halfway mark, India’s Armaan Ebrahim is hoping for a turnaround in his fortunes as the Formula 2 series enters the ninth and 10th rounds at the Brands Hatch circuit, near here, on Friday.

“Hopefully, my campaign will get back on track at Brands, a circuit I enjoy driving on and where I have raced before,” said the 22-year old Armaan.

“I had begun well this season with six points at Silverstone in April, but thereafter, nothing has gone my way despite having the pace to be much higher on the grid.

Looking ahead to the races at Brands Hatch, he said: “Given the layout of the track, qualifying position is very important.”

The race weekend begins with two free practice sessions tomorrow, followed by the races on Saturday and Sunday. The two races will be preceded by a qualifying session. (PTI)
