Five held for trespassing into CM’s bungalow

 SHILLONG: Police on Sunday arrested five persons for trespassing into the official bungalow of the Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma in Polo Hills.

According to police the accused Dr Alexander Lyngdoh (55), Joster Synshiang (20), Phailang Mawrong (19), Rockystar Marwein (22) and Pashal L. Marshillong, who were travelling in a vehicle (ML-05H-5698), trespassed into the official residence of the Chief Minister, Goodwood Bungalow on Sunday evening.

The reason which prompted them to make such a move is yet to be known.

East Khasi Hills SP M Kharkrang informed that the police have registered a case on Monday and all the five arrested persons were being interrogated.

The residential complex of the Chief Minister, constructed at a whopping amount of more than Rs 10 crore, has become a source of attraction for onlookers.
