Programme
The Office of the State Mission Director, Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), Meghalaya, will organise ‘ABDM scan and share implementation programme’ at 10:30 am on Saturday at NEIGRIHMS. Following the programme, which will be attended by NEIGRIHMS Director Dr. Nalin Mehta as the chief guest, will be followed by a short orientation programme.
Appeal
The Khasi Jaintia Christian Leaders Forum (KJCLF) on Thursday held a meeting during which it expressed its dismay over the ongoing violence in Manipur. In a statement here, the KJCLF said that the unabated violence has claimed a number of lives, caused destruction to innumerable churches, properties and human settlements. “The Forum appeals to the citizens of Manipur to cease the fighting and return to calm. The Forum also expresses its solidarity with all the victims of the violence and hopes that peace will gradually be restored,” the statement said.

Principal of Pine Mount School, Shillong, AK Diengdoh, has been transferred and posted as Special Officer, Office of the Director of School Education & Literary, Meghalaya, with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders. Similarly, vice principal of the school Wertimon Dkhar has been given temporary charge to the office of the principal until further orders.
Felicitation
As many as 52 youths were on Friday felicitated after completing the Greta Solutions Training Academy for ‘Street Food Vendor-Standalone’ during a programme at Kiang Nangbah Government College. The programme was attended by Jowai MLA Wailadmiki Shylla as chief guest, West Jaintia Hills Additional Deputy Commissioner D. Lyngdoh, Skill Development Officer Lambormi Suchen, college principal Dr. EM Blah, college faculty, parents of the trainees, among others.
