Govt urges people to enrol for Aadhaar

SHILLONG, June 10: The state government has urged the residents of Meghalaya, who have not yet enrolled for Aadhaar, to get themselves enrolled for at the earliest.
A statement here on Friday informed that Aadhaar enrolment centres have been set up at Offices of every Deputy Commissioner, sub-division and BDO for enrolment and update services.
“In view of the importance of OTP authentication, residents who have changed the mobile number linked to Aadhaar are requested to update their latest mobile number in such centres and Aadhaar camps,” the statement said.
