Nine killed, many injured in fresh violence in Manipur

Shillong, June 14: Manipur witnessed a distressing episode of violence that claimed the lives of at least nine individuals, leaving five others injured. The incident unfolded in the border area between Kangpokpi and Imphal, specifically in Khamenlok village late on Tuesday.

Following the outbreak of violence, the injured victims were promptly transported to a nearby hospital to receive medical treatment. Additionally, reports indicate that several houses in Khamenlok village were set ablaze by unidentified troublemakers, further exacerbating the dire situation.
