SHILLONG: The Seng Samla Malki on Thursday expressed its determination to continue to pursue the Malki rape case involving a seven-year-old girl, stating that they will not rest until justice is served to the minor.

The minor was raped by two unidentified men at Malki forest in May.

Urging the police to take up the case seriously, general secretary of the Seng Samla, Juniorstar Kharbuli said, “We want the police to crack this case at the earliest to ensure that the culprits are suitably punished.”

“We will continue pursuing this case, no matter how long it may take, and we urged the police department to consider this case seriously as it concerns a little girl and the safety of every child in the State,” Kharbuli said.
