Shillong, July 4: The highly anticipated Indian film, Adipurush, starring Prabhas and directed by Om Raut, has turned out to be a major letdown despite its massive budget. After receiving unfavorable reviews upon its theatrical release, the disappointment continues as the film’s high-definition (HD) version has been leaked online even before its official OTT release. Adding to the woes, trolls have been circulating humorous memes mocking Adipurush.

Amid multiple controversies, Adipurush hit theaters on June 16. However, it faced criticism for its subpar visual effects (VFX), lack of authenticity, and a dull screenplay.

Just a few days ago, the HD version of Adipurush, featuring Prabhas in the lead role, found its way onto the internet. This leak comes at a time when the film is already struggling at the box office, further impacting its collection. Director Om Raut had plans to release the film on a popular OTT platform in July. However, with the HD version now widely circulated, the anticipation for the official release might diminish.

In response to the leaked version, trolls have taken to sharing funny memes that critique the film. Some have even appealed to Om Raut and T-Series to take action and block the website responsible for the leak.
