Shillong, July 4: Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s recent release ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ has garnered Rs 4.21 crore on its fifth day at the box office, bringing its total collection to over Rs 42 crore.
The film had a strong opening, collecting Rs 9.25 crore on its first day. Despite a drop in collections on the working Friday, it managed to earn Rs 7 crore. The film saw a surge in collections on Saturday, earning Rs 10.10 crore, and continued its momentum on Sunday with Rs 12.15 crore, according to a statement.
‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ is a collaboration between NGE and Namah Pictures. It was released in theaters on June 29 and features Kartik and Kiara in the lead roles. This film marks their second collaboration after the successful horror comedy ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. The film is now approaching the Rs 50 crore mark in terms of total collection.
