Shillong, July 8: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi extended a helping hand to farmers by planting paddy in Haryana’s Sonipat village of Madina on Saturday morning.

As per India Today, while en route to Himachal Pradesh, he noticed a paddy field, stopped his car, and rolled up his trousers to step into the field. Alongside the farmers, Gandhi plowed the field with a tractor and participated in planting paddy.

In his efforts to garner support for the Congress party ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, Rahul Gandhi has been meeting individuals from various sectors. Recently, he visited a bike mechanic workshop in Delhi’s Karol Bagh area. Gandhi engaged in conversations with mechanics at the workshop and even attempted to repair broken motorcycles.
