New traffic rules on trial

By Our Reporter SHILLONG, July 14: With an aim to ease traffic in the city, the Shillong Traffic Police will make certain changes on traffic rules in Nongrim Hills, Laitumkhrah on a trial basis with effect from July 17 to 21, a statement issued here said. In the statement, the STP pointed out that vehicles proceeding from Rynjah towards Seventh Day junction, Laitumkhrah will be diverted at SBI ATM junction, Nongrim Hills and will take the rear road of NEC Secretariat and exit at Nagaland House junction. And vehicles proceeding from Seventh Day junction, Laitumkhrah towards Nongthymmai Nongshilliang will have to take the front road of NEC Secretariat and take right turn at SBI ATM junction, Nongrim Hills.
