Shillong, July 18: The Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Uttar Pradesh Police continues to question Pakistani citizen Seema Haider and her Indian partner Sachin Meena’s father, Netrapal Singh, in Greater Noida. Seema, who entered India illegally in May, is now under the ATS and Intelligence Bureau (IB)’s radar due to suspected links with the Pakistan army and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

Seema Haider’s mobile data, which was previously deleted, will be sent to the forensic lab. Authorities believe that her mobile data might reveal crucial information regarding sensitive matters, as her uncle and brother have connections with the Pakistan Army.

As per India Today, the investigation also focuses on how Seema entered India without a visa. Her passport, Aadhar card, and documents related to her children will be examined for further insights. Sachin Meena, her Indian partner, is also likely to be questioned by the police.

In a related development, the UP ATS had arrested a suspected ISI agent in Lucknow on charges of supplying “vital information about defense establishments” to handlers in Pakistan.

Authorities are taking these investigations seriously to ensure national security and identify any potential threats posed by individuals with alleged links to foreign intelligence agencies.
