Shillong July 23: The Khasi matrilineal clan organisation, Seng Kur Warjri set up its Siejiong Unit at Mawkasiang and the confirmation ceremony was held on July 17. Altogether, 31 units are geared up for the Silver Jubilee Celebration, culminating at Mawphlang.
The newly elected office-bearers of the Siejiong Unit are Donbor Warjri (president), John Shemphang Warjri and Sharina Warjri (vice presidents), Selius Warjri (Secretary), Bapyndapbiang Warjri and Alferine Warjri (assistant secretaries) and Barisha Warjri (treasurer) among other members.
