Shillong, July 27: In Uttar Pradesh’s Shahjahanpur, a tragic incident occurred on Wednesday where a man identified as Raqeeb allegedly slit his wife’s throat, resulting in her death. The incident took place in Shantipuram Colony in the Sadar Bazaar area. Raqeeb, along with his family members, fled the scene after committing the crime.

Raqeeb and his wife Khalida had been married for 13 years but had frequent arguments. Recently, Khalida had been living with her parents for a month due to family disputes. However, on Wednesday, Raqeeb called her to his house, and during a heated argument, the situation turned violent.
